Web Blockbench browser 3D box modeler

Web Blockbench is published by PlatPhormNews, a platform for useful browser tools and machine-readable web experiences.

. The editor runs in modern browsers and keeps the modeling workflow close to the familiar Blockbench mental model while remaining lightweight and web-based.

What can you make with Web Blockbench?

Create low-poly box models from cubes and groups. Edit geometry with numeric properties and viewport controls, paint texture pixels, position UV rectangles, add animation keyframes, preview display contexts, and export your work as JSON, BBModel, or OBJ. Undo and redo keep experiments safe, while project format and identifier controls make exported work easier to integrate into a game or asset pipeline.

How does model persistence work?

Public documentation, health, discovery, and MCP introspection are read-only. Saved models and model mutations use the protected PlatPhorm API contract and are stored by the Cloudflare Worker in Cloudflare D1. Asset storage is reserved in Cloudflare R2. The browser UI is delivered through Vercel with analytics enabled, while the persistence boundary remains server-side and never exposes the shared API key.

Is Web Blockbench free to use?

Yes. The editor is available in the browser without an installation. Use the Edit mode for geometry, Paint mode for textures and UV work, Animate mode for keyframes, and Display mode for presentation previews. Use the connection panel when you need to inspect the public API contract or connect an authorized persistence client.

For the original Blockbench project and format ecosystem, see Blockbench.net. Web Blockbench is an independent browser implementation for simple low-poly modeling workflows.
