# Web Blockbench Web Blockbench is a browser-based low-poly 3D box modeling editor. Create, texture, animate, and export models without installing software. Desktop, tablet, and phone layouts share the same document model; compact screens expose the touch-first Alt City controller. ## Implemented creative workflows - Multi-select transforms, mirror, pivot centering, auto-fix, magnet snapping, Paint Away visibility masking, and Fan Out Cyborg arrangements. - Full-resolution pixel painting, PNG/JPG import/export, horizontal atlas export, active texture viewport preview, and draggable per-face UV rectangles projected onto cube geometry. - Animation playback, playhead control, graph/keyframe views, evaluated curve interpolation, blend weight, and editable position/rotation/scale channels. - On load, a deterministic City Seed macro builds a 64-person, 1,472-block crowd with hats, mustaches, coffee cups, and antennae over 30 seconds, then leaves the zoomed-out scene ready for editing with replay controls. - The seed also includes varied-size lizards, frogs, and dragons. X dismisses the build window; START saves a fresh City Seed Crowd JSON project snapshot and enters editing. - Save, Save Incremental, JSON, BBModel, and OBJ local exports; Import accepts Web Blockbench JSON and native Blockbench model files for drawable cube editing. ## Deliberate deeper work Multi-vertex/edge/face selection, edge loops, inset/bevel, manifold validation, topology-aware UV unwrap, atlas slicing/packing, multi-clip animation layers, additive channel stacks, and bone retargeting remain planned engineering work. ## Public resources - Homepage: https://blockbench.platphormnews.com/ - API documentation: https://blockbench.platphormnews.com/api/docs - OpenAPI: https://blockbench.platphormnews.com/openapi.json - Health: https://blockbench.platphormnews.com/api/health - RSS: https://blockbench.platphormnews.com/rss.xml - Atom: https://blockbench.platphormnews.com/atom.xml - MCP: https://blockbench.platphormnews.com/api/mcp Model persistence is protected and backed by Cloudflare D1; assets are backed by Cloudflare R2.
